After a nice long summer break, we are back with a new theme and a new competitor (say hello to Sophie Morel everyone!)
This month, we made fresh, from scratch, homemade pasta. The challenge was to make a diptych containing one shot of the making of the pasta and one shot of the final plate. We also absolutely had to use a flash somewhere in these shots.

Picture 1
Picture 1 & 2: love the lighting. Beautiful shots. Food looks appetizing.
ReplyDeletePicture 2: the hands are maybe too much in focus and in the foreground? It takes the eyes off the food.
Picture 3 Love the way the pasta makes a kind of curtain and that the backdrop in the second shot is a curtain. And I love the balance between the filled fresh pasta image and the emptiness of the prepared pasta plate. Well done.
